There’s a lot of great stuff here that you’ll want to make use of. I downloaded quite a bit last night and started listening to Bruce Ware’s lecture “Feminist Revisions of the Doctrine of God.” It is facinating to me how both complementarians and egalitarians are charging each other with revising the doctrine of the Trinity—and heretically so—to fit their preconceived view of gender roles.
Bob’s work involves helping pastors and musicians in the theology and practice of congregational worship and contributing to recordings produced by Sovereign Grace Ministries. He is also one of the congregational worship leaders under Josh Harris at Covenant Life Church.
Bob blogs at Worship Matters, usually discussing the topics of worship and music.
Chapell is a gifted preacher and models well what it means to point people to the grace of God in Christ. If you’re not familiar with his Christ-Centered Preaching: Redeeming the Expository Sermon, I’d encourage you to check it out. The last two chapters were my favorite and are worth a careful read.
The Gospel Coalition website has launched and has numerous helpful resources: articles, audio, and video from men like Bruce A. Ware, C. J. Mahaney, D. A. Carson, Thabiti Anyabwile, and Tim Keller.
The Gospel Coalition is a response to the tragic neglect of the gospel—the very heart of Scripture and the Christian faith—in so much of modern-day evangelicalism.
