I am rather dumbfounded by your statement,"The emerging church is promoting experiential attractions, including statues, prayer stations, incense, liturgy, candles, and icons, the sacraments, and calling communion the Eucharist. It is easy to see how this movement complements and encourages the Vatican’s “new evangelization program” to win the “separated brethren” back to the “true church.” I am gathering that you know very little if any church history. Jesus Himself taught the eucharist. In John 6 , He says in the Bible that whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood will have eternal life. These are not new ideas. These have always been taught. I m quite offended by your lack of respect. The eucharist has always been part of the worship service. I pray that you will follow God's will in your life and perhaps become more open minded if nothing else. However, before you go about misquoting other Christians, why don't you make sure you have the correct facts. When talking about Catholocism for example, get it from a reliable Catholic source. May Christ's peace be with you! Yes, Actually I am a protestant coming home to the Roman Catholic Church which is the church that Christ founded.
