I never missed a chance and always was up on Sunday morning to listen to the broadcast of his fabulous sermons. I missed very few. My biggest anguish was that he was always as "identified" as "Dr." D. James Kennedy,or D.James Kennedy "PH.D." He did not need a "PH.D" at the end of his name to establish his qualifications as a great Preacher!! All you had to do is LISTEN to him to know who he was!! I hope I am not too nit-picking' about this, as there are thousands of great preachers out there who have no "PH.D" after their names and they deliver great sermons every Sunday morning! A true and faithful servant of the Lord with passion and perseverance, he has made an immeasurable difference in the world. I will miss him greatly but will continue to support the ministries important to him. My deepest sympathy to Dr. Kennedy's family.
