Jesus’ Face Appears on Tree

by Phil Gons on June 21st, 2007

Resemblance?A tree on the property of St. Michaels Church in Memphis, TN allegedly has the face of Jesus in the bark. A few thoughts:

  1. We have no idea what Jesus actually looked like.
  2. I don’t even see any resemblance to the common image of Jesus.
  3. Perhaps it’s actually Mary.

Read the article and see the pictures at WMC Memphis.

This kind of silliness makes Christians look so rediculous and superstitious. If it is a miracle of God, it leaves one with the question … couldn’t you have done better? bah!

You need to see this phenonmenon in person. It does look like Jesus. Jesus in the Holy Shroud, Jesus in Veronica’s vail. Maybe since you are obviously not Catholic and your religion was created by men, not God, you are not aware of these sacred Holy images.

This image of the Holy Face of Our Lord Jesus Christ is there to remind us of his holiness, his miracles and to search our souls to be better Christians. In this terrible time of war, killings, home invasions, gang warfare, mothers killing their babies and the murder of the unborn what a wonderful gift from God.

This Holy image shakes ones soul. How can I love my Lord more? How can I be a kinder person? How can I be a better Christian to share the good news with all people.

You need to take a trip to Memphis and see it for youself. It is FREE! and will be a great source of comfort in this time of turmoil.

The image appeared September 14, 2005 (the Feast Day of the Exhultion of the Most Holy Cross of Jesus). In case your are not aware, everyday is a special feast day for someone (A Saint, Martyr, the Blessed Mother of God, Mary Most Holy, or Jesus himeself. You celebrate some of these feastdays; ChristMAS, EASTER, St. Valentines day, etc.

The image appeared on the feast of the Holy Cross.

The image is a special blessing. Let us all thank God for this most Holy Sign of love from our Lord Jesus Christ, who loves everyone, even doubting Thomas.
